Solar LoRa Water Quality Total Hardness Sensor (LW118S) - a wireless water quality monitoring device designed specifically for outdoor scenarios without electricity or internet, based on the LoRaWAN protocol. It integrates solar self powering, low-power wide area network communication, and industrial grade total hardness electrodes, achieving reliable monitoring with "no maintenance after installation and continuous operation for more than three years".
1. Solar self powered, ultra long battery life
Built in 0.88W monocrystalline silicon photovoltaic panel and 3.7V/3400mAh lithium-ion battery, combined with low-power circuit. Under the default 30 minute reporting cycle, the battery life is ≥ 3 years (based on normal usage conditions). Due to the high power consumption of ion sensors, it is not recommended to set a too short reporting cycle, but it is sufficient to meet most outdoor long-term monitoring needs.
2. LoRaWAN wireless transmission, compatible with global frequency bands
Following LoRaWAN 1.0.3 protocol, supporting Class A/C mode, and using OTAA network access. Covering mainstream global frequency bands such as CN470, EU868, US915, AS923, etc., data can be directly transmitted to cloud or local servers without the need for SIM cards and gateway wiring, greatly reducing deployment and communication costs.
3. High precision dual parameter monitoring of total hardness and temperature
Measurement range: 0-1000.0mg/L (calculated as CaCO3), resolution: 0.1mg/L, accuracy: ± 10%; Simultaneously equipped with Pt1000 automatic temperature compensation, with a temperature accuracy of ± 0.3 ℃. The electrode adopts two-point calibration (pre calibrated at the factory), with a service life of about 1-2 years, suitable for industrial wastewater, surface water, drinking water, seawater and other water bodies with pH 4-10 and 0-40 ℃.
4. Remote configuration and flexible operation and maintenance
By using the Type-C serial port and configuration tool, the reporting cycle (1-65535 seconds), calibration zero/slope, and device restart can be remotely or locally modified. The device reports data including hardness values, temperature, and battery voltage, and supports breakpoint continuation and abnormal alarms (such as unconnected electrodes or low voltage). The LED indicator light clearly displays the network access status, making it convenient for quick on-site troubleshooting.
