1) What are the advantages of segmented servo drives?

By reducing the step angle per step, the step uniformity is improved, thus enhancing control precision.

2) Why does my motor only rotate in one direction?

The directional signal may be too weak, or the wiring polarity is incorrect, or the signal voltage is too high, which could burn out the directional current-limiting resistor.
