The NB1-63DC Pure DC Air Switch is a specialized miniature circuit breaker (MCB) engineered specifically for the demanding environment of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems. Standard AC breakers are designed to extinguish arcs at the "zero-crossing" of an AC cycle; however, DC current is continuous, making arcs significantly harder to break.
