General

The CEE MP-25/600 Deadbreak Junction provides two, three or four 600Amp deadbreak interfaces based together and encapsulated in a precision molded peroxide cured EPDM insulated rubber body with a semi-conductive outer shield.Deadbreak Junctions are used in padmount apparatus,underground vaults, and other installations to establish loops, taps and splices, and facilitate apparatus change-outs.

Sectionalizing a cable run to find and isolate a cable fault is made easy when a deadbreak junction is used with deadbreak connectors meeting the requirements of ANSI/IEEE Standard 386-"Separable Insulated Connector Systems".

When mated with a comparably rated product. The junction provides a fully shielded, submersible threaded connection for deadbreak operation.

Interchangeability

All CEE Power System 600A Deadbreak Junctions conform to the electrical, mechanical and dimensional requirements of ANSI/IEEE Standard 386. It mates with the bushing interface that conforms to IEEE 386-1995 figure 11. The Deadbreak Junction can be used on any comparably rated connector interface that also meets the requirements of this standard.
