Drilling Considerations

Different geological structures require specific drilling approaches. For example, when drilling through gypsum layers:

The drilling fluid should be pretested first. Calcium ions can be removed by adding anti-gypsum treatment agents such as soda ash calcium removal and viscosity reducer. Simultaneously, use viscosity reducer with strong calcium resistance to control viscosity cutting, supplemented with fluid loss reducer and anti-sloughing agents to maintain drilling fluid stability and improve anti-gypsum pollution capability.
