Product Overview

The SP13 aviation connector is the 13 mm shell size member of the SP waterproof circular connector family. It pairs a threaded twist-lock coupling nut with a double O-ring seal to deliver IP68 protection when mated, making it a practical sealed interface for outdoor lighting, sensor wiring, solar auxiliary circuits and mobile equipment harnesses.

Each set consists of a male cable plug and a female socket available in panel-mount (front nut or rear nut) or inline cable-to-cable styles. Contacts are solder-cup, screw-clamp or crimp type, accepting 0.14-2 mm² wire and cable outer diameters of 4-6.5 mm (Type I gland) or 5-8 mm (Type II gland).

The SP13 shares the twist-lock mating principle of the SP17 and SP21 series but occupies a smaller footprint and costs less, which makes it the preferred choice where M12 connectors are too small and M20/M25 connectors are oversized. It is mechanically interchangeable with common SP1310, SP1311 and SP1312 subtypes.
