Compact 1.2kW Solar Inverter for 12.8V Batteries with 120A Charging
This compact 1.2kW solar inverter is designed around a 12.8V battery platform and supports both lithium and lead-acid battery systems. It combines MPPT photovoltaic charging, AC charging, pure sine wave output and battery activation functions in one unit.
The photovoltaic charger provides up to 60A, while the AC charger also provides up to 60A. The listed maximum combined charging current is 120A, allowing faster battery recovery when suitable solar and utility sources are available.
This version is positioned for battery dealers, solar distributors and installers who require a small inverter platform with flexible battery compatibility, a compact enclosure and clear LCD operating information.
12.8V Battery Platform
The inverter is designed for a nominal 12.8V battery system and supports compatible lithium and lead-acid batteries.
Solar Battery Charging
The built-in MPPT charger converts available photovoltaic energy into controlled battery-charging current.
AC Battery Recovery
Utility charging can supplement solar energy when weather conditions are poor or the battery requires faster recovery.
Battery Activation
The specification lists both AC and photovoltaic activation support for compatible battery operating conditions.
The maximum charging-current setting should match the battery manufacturer’s permitted charge rate, BMS limit, cable size and protection devices. A listed inverter maximum should not automatically be applied to every battery.
The battery specification includes a 14V floating-charge voltage and 14.6V overcharge-protection voltage. Final settings must follow the selected battery chemistry and the battery supplier’s technical requirements.
Battery energy capacity should be selected according to the required backup duration. The inverter can provide up to 1.2kW continuously, but a small battery may not sustain higher loads for an extended period.
The 120A value is the listed maximum combined photovoltaic and AC charging current. Actual charging performance depends on the available sources, battery condition and configured current limits.

Battery chemistry, charge-current limits and protection settings must be confirmed before commissioning. This product page does not replace the battery manufacturer’s installation instructions.
Yes. Both battery types are listed, but the charging settings must match the selected battery chemistry and manufacturer requirements.
It is the listed maximum total when photovoltaic and AC charging are combined. Actual current depends on available source power and configured limits.
No. The permitted charge current depends on battery capacity, chemistry, BMS rating, cable size and protection equipment.
The specification lists activation through both the AC source and the photovoltaic source for compatible battery conditions.
The inverter includes an LCD interface together with RS485 and RS232 communication connections.
This 12.8V solar inverter is suitable for battery distributors, solar installers and system integrators requiring flexible charging options for compact off-grid and backup systems.
