Working Principle
The working principle of the V-shaped mixer is based on the forced convection and diffusion movement of the materials within the V-shaped cylinder: When two circular cylinders arranged in a V shape rotate around the central axis, the materials inside the cylinder will be lifted to a certain height as the cylinder rotates, and then they will slide down towards the bottom V-shaped intersection point under the influence of gravity.
During this process, the materials continuously transfer from one side of the cylinder to the other, resulting in intense segregation, merging and interlaced flow, accompanied by slight shearing effects. Through the continuous rotation cycle, the powders or particles of different components gradually achieve uniform mixing through repeated dispersion and convergence, ultimately achieving the desired mixing effect. This structural design reduces the retention dead zones of the materials and improves the mixing efficiency.
