This customizable IR drying line is an industrial tunnel-type drying system using medium-wave or far-infrared heating technology for efficient drying and curing of coatings, inks, and adhesives on various substrates. Available in standard screen printing drying, high-temperature glass processing, and precision electronics curing configurations.
The system is fully customizable in belt width, heating length, number of heating zones, temperature range, and automation level. Unlike conventional hot air drying, IR heating transfers energy directly to the product surface without heating the surrounding air, resulting in faster drying times, lower energy consumption, and reduced floor space requirements.
This IR drying line is ideal for drying solvent-based and water-based inks after screen printing, pad printing, and spray coating, as well as curing adhesives, drying coatings on glass/ceramics, and processing optical films and electronic components.
Working Principle
Infrared radiation from heating tubes penetrates the coating/surface, causing rapid solvent evaporation or cross-linking polymerization (for UV/thermal curing). Optional hot air circulation enhances temperature uniformity to ±2°C within the chamber.
