Centerless 1.4GHz Mesh Mobile Ad Hoc MANET Network Radio With 64 Nodes Support FHSS
The HCL620 is an advanced, scalable, and efficient radio device for mobile ad hoc networks (MANET), capable of providing ultra-reliable connectivity for unmanned aircraft and other unmanned systems with up to 10W of transmit power. This technology enables the creation of secure self-forming and self-healing networks anywhere, delivering longer transmission range and higher throughput in both line-of-sight and non-line-of-sight environments.
Advanced Network Capabilities
In a MESH network, each HCL620 MANET radio communicates with each other, forming a true peer-to-peer mobile network. The system can be easily installed on various unmanned system platforms and directly connected to monitors, input devices, and sensors through multi-functional I/O ports, creating a convenient Ground Control Station (GCS) or data processing and distribution unit in the field.
- Supports point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, chain relay, mesh networking and hybrid network topology
- Self-forming and self-healing network capabilities
- Ultra-reliable connectivity for unmanned systems

Nodes and Throughput
The HCL620 MANET network radio supports two operation modes: access node mode or central node mode. It can be managed through the network user interface. The HCL620 supports the function of up to 64 access nodes connecting to a central node. All nodes are in the same wireless local area network and share the entire transmission bandwidth (up to 100Mbps throughput). The data from the central node to the access node is called downlink data, while the data from the access node to the central node is called uplink data. The ratio of uplink and downlink data streams can be controlled through the web UI. When using the HCL620 for point-to-point transmission, the uplink and downlink data will also share the entire transmission bandwidth (up to 100Mbps throughput).
