Description of Fork density meter:
Fork density meter is principle of vibrating density meter with high precision, high applicability via introducing foreign advanced frequency tracking technology. Product design adopts plug-in mounting, widely used in medium density measurement in pipelines, open tank containers and closed tank containers.
Fork density meter sensor is composed of two piezoelectric crystals, one piezoelectric crystal is used for generating vibration, the other piezoelectric crystal is used for measuring vibration, fork sensor built-in temperature sensor, provides temperature compensation for piezoelectric crystal vibration.
Technical parameters of fork density meter:
- Measurement range: 0~3 g/cm³ optional
- Output: 4-20 mA signal (four wires)
- Accuracy: 0.3% (actual range) or 0.001 g/cm³ (choose the max)
- Resolution: 0.0001 g/cm³
- Installation mode: DN50 DN80 DN100 and thread installation (thread installation is with installation base)
- Range of application: -30~120 degree
- Max working pressure: 20MPa
- IP grade: IP65
- Fork body material: Stainless 316, Hastelloy C22, manganese alloy 400
- Fork body coating: Teflon coating (perfect for hydrophobicity and non-sticking of impurities in liquids)
Installation of fork density meter:
General principle of installation:
- Space around of fork bottom is not less than 30mm, space around of fork is not less than 12mm
- Fork body is not impacted by strong current
- The medium flows through the middle of the fork body
In order to describe the installation mode more visual and systematic, special finishing several common installation modes, the installation can refer to the following installation:
- First classic installation: Straight Insertion Installation (low flow rate)
- Second classic installation: Inclined insertion installation (high flow rate)
- Third classic installation: Fixed mounting kit Installation (custom mounting kit)
