1)Description of Worm Gear Set

A worm gear and worm are mechanical components used to transmit motion and power between intersecting shafts.

The worm is similar to a screw, while the worm gear resembles a helical cylindrical gear.

They achieve transmission through the meshing of helical teeth, and usually the worm is the driving component.
