YUHONG Stripping Gas Heater is a precision-engineered thermal solution designed specifically for the demanding environments of the Pipeline Project. Built to facilitate critical heat exchange processes in gas conditioning units (GCU), this heater combines robust metallurgical integrity with advanced engineering standards (ASME Sec VIII Div.1 and TEMA) to ensure maximum efficiency in stripping gas applications.

Technical Engineering & Design Standards

Design Pressure: shell-side design pressure of 5 barg.

Temperature Resilience: design temperature for the shell side is rated at 150°C.

Seismic & Wind Load Integrity: The unit is designed in accordance with IBC 2010 for seismic stability and ASCE/SEI 7-22 for wind load resistance.

Material Excellence for Sour Service

To combat the corrosive nature of hydrocarbon condensates and lean glycol fluids, the 01-GA-0204 utilizes premium-grade materials tailored for Sour Service (HIC/SSC) requirements.

Shell & Barrels: SA-516 Gr. 70N

Tube Bundle: SA-213 T9/T22 alloy tubes

Cladding Protection: cladded with Stainless Steel (minimum 3mm after machining)

This stripping gas heater uses SA213 T22 alloy tubes, a material choice that provides good elevated-temperature strength for stripping service where process gas temperatures run high. The fixed tubesheet shell and tube design keeps the unit compact and economical, with a straightforward layout that simplifies piping and maintenance access. CE-certified fabrication covers design pressures to the 5 bar class at operating temperatures around 150C, and the heater is delivered with material certificates and pressure test documentation. We support installation, commissioning and ongoing service.
