Product Overview
This TNC-EPS4306N4 PoE switch features 6 10/100Base-TX Ethernet ports, with ports 1 through 4 supporting the IEEE 802.3 af/at Power over Ethernet protocols. Each port can deliver up to 30W of power individually, while the device provides a total maximum PoE output of 48W. As a PoE power sourcing equipment, the switch automatically detects whether connected devices support PoE and supplies power exclusively to compliant devices, thereby effectively preventing damage to non-PoE devices.
The PoE switch allows ports 1 to 4 to be forcibly set to a 10 Mbps speed via a toggle switch, enabling signal transmission distances up to 250 meters over existing twisted-pair cables. Additionally, ports 1 through 4 are mutually isolated yet maintain communication with the uplink ports (ports 5 and 6). This configuration effectively segments collision and broadcast domains, minimizing broadcast storms and enhancing network communication efficiency. It is an ideal solution for video surveillance networking in hotels, retail stores, supermarkets, residential homes, and small to medium-sized enterprises.
