The Juniper SRX5600 delivers carrier-class firewall performance in a flexible 8 RU modular chassis, purpose-built for large data centers, service provider edges, and high-growth enterprise cores. Unlike fixed-configuration firewalls, it scales to 1.44 Tbps throughput and supports 182 million concurrent sessions, making it ideal for environments where traffic spikes and latency cannot be tolerated. Full hardware redundancy (power, SCBs, fans, Routing Engines) and dual switch fabric slots ensure non-stop operations, while Junos OS provides carrier-grade stability with FIPS 140-2 and Common Criteria EAL4+ certifications.
