The Juniper PTX10008 is an 8‑slot modular packet transport router delivering 230.4 Tbps system capacity in a compact 13U chassis — powered by the custom Triton ASIC and Junos OS Evolved. Each line card supports native QSFP‑DD/QDD800 optics, enabling up to 288 x 400GbE ports with wire‑speed inline MACsec. Built for service provider cores, DCI, AI/ML spines, and CDN networks, the PTX10008 features full hardware redundancy (REs, PSUs, fans), deep buffers for lossless traffic, and advanced routing (SRv6, BIER, HQoS, INT‑MD).
