ASTM A403 WP347-WX EQUAL TEE ASME B16.9 Excellent Resistance To Intergranular Corrosion And High Temperature Strength

ASTM A403 WP347-WX equal diameter tee is a weld-on pipe fitting made of stabilized austenitic stainless steel. Its core function is to connect three pipes, allowing fluid media to merge or diverge. It is specifically designed for harsh environments requiring excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion and high-temperature strength, and is widely used in chemical, power, and other industrial fields.
Characteristics of Stainless Steel 347:
Excellent Resistance to Intergranular Corrosion:This is WP347's most prominent advantage. The addition of niobium (Nb), a stronger carbide-forming element than chromium (Cr), effectively resists intergranular corrosion, making it particularly suitable for components requiring welding where post-weld heat treatment is not possible.
Excellent High-Temperature Strength:
Compared to unstabilized stainless steels such as 304 or 304L, 347 exhibits higher creep rupture strength at high temperatures. This allows it to operate stably for extended periods in high-temperature environments ranging from 500°C to 800°C, resisting deformation and damage at high temperatures.
