ASTM A234 WPB -WX Butt Weld Pipe Fittings Oil Gas Chemical

ASTM A234 covers carbon and alloy steel forgings for seamless and welded construction covered by ASME B16.9, B16.11, MSS-SP-79, MSS-SP-83, MSS-SP-95, and MSS-SP-97, latest revisions. These fittings are used in the fabrication of pressure piping and pressure vessels for use at moderate and high temperatures.CS A234 butt weld fittings are made of forged carbon steel and are designed for moderate to high temperature service. Carbon steel A234 WPB butt weld fittings are extremely resilient and durable. They are characterized by excellent tensile strength, high dimensional accuracy and good surface finish. In addition, they are cost effective and can be used in a variety of applications.CS A234 butt weld fittings are ideal for use in domestic, commercial and industrial applications.ASTM A234 pipe fittings and CS A860 butt weld fittings are generally used in high and medium temperature piping systems. In general, they are made of carbon, alloy and weldable steels. In some cases, they are seamless pipe products. However, ASME B16 adds seamless construction, which can reduce installation costs.
