Overview:
Hastelloy B3 Lap Joint Stub End is a specialized component made from Hastelloy B3, a high-performance nickel-molybdenum alloy known for its exceptional resistance to hydrochloric acid at all concentrations and temperatures. This alloy also exhibits excellent resistance to pitting, stress-corrosion cracking, and oxidation, making it ideal for corrosive environments.
The lap joint stub end features a flat profile that allows for easy connection to pipe flanges, providing a secure and leak-tight interface. Its design facilitates the use of a loose backing flange, enabling simple assembly and disassembly, which is particularly advantageous in maintenance operations.
