Cold Rolled 444 Stainless Steel Sheet
AISI 444 Inox Sheet for Water Tank Applications
Product Overview
EN 1.4521 / AISI 444 grade stainless steel is a dual stabilized ferritic stainless steel containing 2% molybdenum. This grade offers excellent corrosion properties comparable to austenitic grades 4401/4404, with higher strength values due to molybdenum alloying.
Key Features
- Excellent corrosion resistance comparable to 316 stainless steel
- Superior resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking
- Excellent formability and deep drawability
- Dual stabilization with titanium and niobium
- Approved for drinking water applications by German (DVGW) and Swiss (SVGW) authorities
Applications
Food processing equipment, brewery and wine making equipment, hot-water tanks, heat-exchanger tubing, automotive components, solar water heaters, and drinking water systems.
