S32750 2507 Duplex Steel Sheet 1.4410 Sheet
Alloy 2507 (UNS S32750) is a super duplex stainless steel with 25% chromium, 4% molybdenum, and 7% nickel designed for demanding applications requiring exceptional strength and corrosion resistance. This material offers excellent resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking, high thermal conductivity, and low coefficient of thermal expansion.
Material Standards
ASTM/ASME: A240 - UNS S32750
EURONORM: 1.4410 - X2 Cr Ni MoN 25.7.4
AFNOR: Z3 CN 25.06 Az
Industrial Applications
- Oil and gas industry equipment
- Offshore platforms, heat exchangers, and process water systems
- Chemical process industries, vessels, and piping
- Desalination plants and seawater piping systems
- Mechanical and structural components requiring high strength
- Power industry FGD systems and scrubber systems
Technical Specifications
Alloy 2507 super duplex stainless steel provides exceptional corrosion resistance and mechanical strength for severe service environments. The high chromium, molybdenum, and nitrogen levels deliver superior resistance to pitting, crevice, and general corrosion.
Note: Not recommended for applications requiring long exposures to temperatures above 570°F due to potential reduction in toughness.
