DC51D+AZ 55% Al-Zn Steel Coil - Hot Dip Galvalume Steel Coil
The substrate composition of aluminium-zinc steel plate consists of 55% aluminum, 43.5% zinc, and 1.5% silicon. This unique combination merges the physical protection and high durability of aluminum with the electrochemical protection properties of zinc. Under identical conditions, its corrosion resistance is 4-6 times greater than standard galvanized sheet, making it an ideal material for roofing and exterior wall applications.

Performance and Applications
Excellent weather resistance enables over 20 years of service without maintenance. Early test results from roof and wall systems demonstrate survival through decades of intense sun exposure, industrial waste erosion, and extreme temperature and pressure variations without requiring maintenance. What are the primary uses of Galvalume?
It is widely used for metal roofing, siding, pre-engineered metal buildings, HVAC ductwork, automotive parts, and appliances.
Is it okay to use Galvalume with pressure-treated lumber?
Generally, no. The chemicals in modern pressure-treated wood (like ACQ) are highly corrosive to Galvalume. Use a barrier tape or physical separator between the wood and metal.
Can Galvalume be used for animal shelters?
