What is NADH Powder Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide?

NADH (Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a chemical substance, generally referring to reduced coenzyme I, and is the reduced form of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide. N refers to nicotinamide, A refers to adenine, and D refers to the dinucleotide.

NADH primarily participates in cellular metabolism and energy metabolism. It is produced in the citric acid cycle during glycolysis and cellular respiration. It serves as a carrier of biohydrogen and an electron donor, transferring energy for ATP synthesis through oxidative phosphorylation on the inner mitochondrial membrane. Therefore, NADH is also called the mitochondrial factor. Theoretically, the energy released by one NADH molecule can synthesize 2.5 molecules of ATP.
