Description

The Bag Lifting Centrifuge is designed for batch separation, washing, and recovery of vitamin C crystals after crystallization or recrystallization.

Vitamin C crystal slurry normally contains ascorbic acid crystals, mother liquor, soluble impurities, and fine-crystal fractions. The separation stage must remove mother liquor effectively while controlling product loss during washing and avoiding unnecessary exposure to unfavorable temperature, air, or prolonged handling conditions.

This configuration is suitable for batch vitamin C production, recrystallization recovery, and high-purity food ingredient or fine chemical crystal handling where clean collection and low product residue are important.

How the Bag Lifting Centrifuge Works in Vitamin C Crystal Separation

1. Crystal Slurry Feeding

Vitamin C crystal slurry enters the rotating basket lined with a suitable filter bag.

2. Mother Liquor Filtration

Mother liquor passes through the filter bag and is collected through the filtrate outlet.

3. Crystal Retention

Vitamin C crystals remain inside the filter bag while the liquid phase is discharged.

4. Cake Formation
