The Bag Lifting Centrifuge is designed for the batch separation, washing, and dewatering of high-purity fine chemical crystals after crystallization, purification, or solvent recovery.
In fine chemical production, the crystal slurry may contain valuable product crystals, mother liquor, residual solvents, reaction by-products, trace salts, pigments, or soluble impurities. The centrifuge separates the crystals from the liquid phase, supports controlled cake washing, and reduces residual liquid before downstream vacuum drying, milling, screening, packaging, or further purification.
It is suitable for high-purity batch processes where low product hold-up, controlled washing, clean product handling, and reduced cross-contamination are important.
High-purity fine chemical production requires more than basic solid-liquid separation. The equipment must support product purity, controlled washing, low material retention, and stable batch handling.
Typical process requirements include:

Centrifugal filtration removes impurity-containing mother liquor from the crystal cake before drying. This helps reduce the carryover of dissolved by-products, residual reactants, trace salts, color bodies, and solvent-soluble impurities.
Optional cake washing can be configured to displace residual mother liquor from the crystal bed. Wash liquid type, volume, temperature, flow rate, and washing stages can be adjusted according to crystal solubility and final purity requirements.
The filter bag retains the crystal cake during separation and is lifted after the batch cycle. This reduces product residue inside the basket and supports more complete recovery of high-value fine chemical crystals.
The removable filter bag simplifies product discharge, cleaning, and replacement between batches. This helps reduce cross-contamination risk when different fine chemical products, purity grades, or solvent systems are processed on the same line.
Wetted materials, filter bag media, seals, and electrical configuration can be selected according to solvent compatibility and hazardous-area requirements. PLC-controlled filtration, washing, spin drying, and bag lifting help maintain repeatable purity and residual-liquid performance between batches
For high-purity fine chemical applications, the final configuration should be selected according to solvent composition, corrosion condition, product purity target, cleaning method, and plant safety classification.

To recommend a suitable Bag Lifting Centrifuge, please provide:
Yes. It is suitable for fine chemical crystals that can form a stable filter cake and require batch filtration, controlled washing, dewatering, and low-hold-up product collection.
Yes. High-speed spin drying removes free liquid from the cake. Final residual solvent depends on crystal size, cake permeability, solvent viscosity, basket speed, and cycle time.
Yes. An optional wash system can reduce residual mother liquor, soluble salts, pigments, and other impurities. The wash liquid should be selected according to product solubility and compatibility.
Yes. Explosion-proof motors, electrical cabinets, instruments, and nitrogen protection can be provided for solvent-containing or classified hazardous areas.
Yes. The removable filter bag helps simplify product discharge, cleaning, and bag replacement between campaigns. The cleaning and changeover procedure should be confirmed according to the required product purity level.
