The Decanter Centrifuge for Coagulated Blood Separation is designed for continuous separation of coagulated blood solids from liquid components in animal processing and by-product recovery applications.
It is suitable for slaughterhouse blood treatment, animal by-product processing, blood meal production pretreatment, and organic waste separation. The centrifuge uses high centrifugal force to separate coagulated blood particles from liquid, improving solid recovery and reducing moisture content before further processing.
In blood processing, the main challenges include high organic load, sticky coagulated solids, rapid spoilage risk, difficult solid-liquid separation, and strict hygiene requirements. The decanter centrifuge provides continuous operation, efficient dewatering, and stable separation performance for animal processing plants.
Animal blood contains high concentrations of proteins and organic materials, requiring efficient separation to avoid waste and processing issues.
Coagulated blood solids have strong adhesion characteristics, making conveying and discharge difficult.
Fresh coagulated blood contains a large amount of water, increasing drying energy consumption during blood meal production.
Blood materials can deteriorate quickly after collection, requiring fast and continuous processing.
Small blood particles may remain suspended in liquid, reducing recovery efficiency.
Animal by-product processing requires corrosion-resistant and easy-to-clean equipment for hygienic operation.
Collected Blood
→ Coagulation Treatment
→ Feed Tank
→ Decanter Centrifuge
→ Dewatered Blood Solids + Separated Liquid
Dewatered Solids → Blood Meal Production / Further Processing
Separated Liquid → Wastewater Treatment
Processed coagulated blood enters the rotating bowl through the feed system.
Under centrifugal force, heavier blood solids move toward the bowl wall and form a concentrated solids layer.
Separated liquid moves toward the inner liquid zone and exits through the liquid discharge outlet.
The scroll continuously transports concentrated blood solids toward the discharge end.
Dewatered blood solids and separated liquid are continuously discharged for further treatment.
