The Decanter Centrifuge for Nickel Cobalt Manganese Hydroxide Slurry Dewatering is designed for continuous solid-liquid separation, NCM precursor recovery, slurry thickening, and process-liquid clarification.
It is suitable for NCM hydroxide precipitation slurry, washing slurry, classification overflow, off-spec material recovery, and battery-material wastewater treatment.
The centrifuge separates nickel cobalt manganese hydroxide particles and other suspended solids from the liquid phase. Corrosion-resistant materials, wear protection, and contamination-control configurations can be selected according to the process conditions.

The slurry enters the rotating bowl through a controlled feed pipe.
An agitated tank helps prevent particle settling and maintains a stable feed concentration.
High-speed rotation separates NCM hydroxide particles from the liquid phase.
The denser solids move outward and form a layer against the bowl wall, while clarified liquid remains closer to the center.
The internal screw conveyor rotates at a controlled differential speed.
It continuously transports settled solids toward the conical end for further dewatering.
The separated liquid leaves through the liquid outlet.
It can be returned to the process, sent to polishing filtration, or transferred to further wastewater treatment.
Concentrated NCM hydroxide solids are discharged continuously.
The recovered solids can be sent to washing, filter pressing, drying, reprocessing, or storage.

Fine NCM hydroxide particles may settle slowly. Particle-size distribution and settling tests should be checked before selection.
High solids concentration or viscosity may reduce processing capacity. Stable feeding is important for consistent separation.
The liquid phase may contain ammonium salts, sulfates, alkalis, complexing agents, or residual metal ions. The complete composition should be provided for material selection.
NCM precursor production may have strict contamination limits. Wetted materials and wear-resistant components should be selected carefully.
The required discharge concentration depends on whether the solids are sent to further washing, filter pressing, drying, or reprocessing.
High centrifugal force continuously recovers valuable nickel cobalt manganese hydroxide particles.
Adjustable operating parameters maintain stable separation under changing feed conditions.
Pre-thickening reduces the liquid volume entering filter presses, washers, or dryers.
Clarified liquid can be recycled or transferred to further metal recovery and treatment.
Customized materials and internal protection support corrosive and high-purity battery-material processes.
