Product Overview

The HG4930 is a micro-electro-mechanical system (MEMS) based inertial measurement unit (IMU) designed for a range of applications including agriculture, AUVs, industrial equipment, robotics, survey/mapping, stabilized platforms, transportation, UAVs, and UGVs. It features an industry-standard communication interface for easy integration and is ideal for applications requiring small size, light weight, and low power. The HG4930 includes MEMS gyroscopes and accelerometers, an internal environmental isolation system to attenuate unwanted inputs, and is rugged enough for demanding users. Three performance grades are available. Key advantages include world-class inertial sensor development, calibration and compensation, proven reliability, dependability, ruggedness, RS-422 Asynchronous or SDLC standard protocols, and it is a cost-effective replacement for a FOG.
