Description

Photologic Hermetic Sensors

The OPL800, OPL801, and OPL820 series sensors integrate a photodiode, linear amplifier, and Schmitt trigger on a single monolithic chip. The OPL810, OPL811, and OPL813 variants additionally include a voltage regulator. These devices are hermetically sealed in a lensed TO-18 metal can package and feature TTL/LSTTL compatible logic-level outputs. The Schmitt trigger's hysteresis provides high immunity to input and VCC noise. OPL800 series devices offer medium-speed data rates up to 250 kBaud with fast rise and fall times. They are designed for applications such as non-contact reflective object sensing, assembly line and machine automation, machine safety, and end-of-travel sensing.
