Product Description

The Bently Nevada 165855 Cylinder Pressure Transducer, when combined with the 146824 Interconnect cable, forms a complete Cylinder Pressure System designed for measuring cyclic absolute pressure changes in reciprocating compressor cylinders. This system is an essential component of Reciprocating Compressor Condition Monitoring and Asset Management Systems when used with our 3500/77M Cylinder Pressure Monitor and System 1 Plant Asset Management Software.

The transducer's wetted surface typically installs into an isolation valve or pressure indicator port on the compressor, often requiring a special adapter (such as the 166393 adapter) for proper sealing. The electronics portion is separated by 1 meter of cable and should be secured near the compressor for optimal performance.

Each unit ships with pressure-temperature compensation data to optimize measurements when input into the 3500/77 Cylinder Pressure Monitor, minimizing temperature effects on transducer performance.
