PVDF/Titanium Insertion Magmeter — Blind 4–20 mA (Model 3‑2551‑T0‑12)

The +GF+ Signet 3‑2551‑T0‑12​ is a blind (no‑display) insertion‑style electromagnetic flow sensor​ with a PVDF body and Titanium electrodes/grounding ring, sized for ½–4″ (DN15–DN100)​ full‑pipe conductive‑liquid service. Key parameters: flow range 0.05–10 m/s, linearity ±1% reading +0.1% FS, repeatability ±0.5%, minimum conductivity 20 µS/cm, and a 2‑wire loop‑powered 4–20 mA​ output requiring 21.6–26.4 VDC​ (max 22.1 mA, max loop impedance 300 Ω). The NEMA 4X / IP65​ assembly mounts via Signet fittings with automatic insertion‑depth alignment, and provides empty‑pipe detection​ (zero flow output when not wetted) with no moving parts and no pressure drop.

Automation Role — Where It's Used, Core Function & Advantages

It feeds a plant‑standard isolated 4–20 mA flow signal​ straight into a PLC/DCS, chart recorder, or SCADA​ for pump protection interlocks, flow‑proportional dosing, totalization, and alarm/monitoring logic—no separate transmitter required. Typical use cases: chemical processing, wastewater/neutralization, scrubber recirculation, metal recovery/leachate, and industrial water distribution​ where the medium is conductive but potentially dirty or corrosive.
