Product Description:

The SMP connector is a push-on subminiature RF coaxial connector designed for applications of high-frequency up to 40Ghz . It is known for its compact size and reliable performance, making it ideal for use in various electronic devices, systems, communicatoin, stacom, radar and so on for the connnection between board. It can saving larger mounting space to realize the high density board connection. The male plug have three structures: full detent, limited detent ( also called semi detent, half detent) and smooth bore(including catcher's mitt).

According to the different using applicaiton, the user can choose the male plug with different structures. When user does not need the frequency interstion, they can choose the full detent. The full detent has the maximum connection retention force, the best vibration resistance & impact performance. It is commonly used for cable connection.

When user need many times of insertion, they can use the limited detent (also called semi detent, half detent). The retention force is medium base on the smooth bore structure. It is widely used for PCB assembly and blind mating connections.

When user need more or have to assemble many SMP board to board connectors, they can choose the smooth bore structure. The smooth bore has the same engagement force and disengagement forces and allows axial & radial misalignment. It is often used in blind mating connections.
