FEP (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene) is a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and hexafluoropropylene, known for its exceptional performance characteristics in industrial applications.

• Non-stickiness: Virtually no solid substances adhere permanently to FEP coatings
• Low friction coefficient: Dynamic friction coefficient 0.08-0.30, static friction coefficient 0.12-0.20
• Heat resistance: Continuous use up to 204°C (400°F), intermittent use up to 260°C (500°F) with proper ventilation
• Chemical resistance: Excellent resistance to most chemicals except molten alkali metals and highly active fluorinating agents
• Non-wetting properties: Hydrophobic and oleophobic with low surface energy
• Electrical properties: High dielectric strength, low dielectric constant, low loss factor, and high surface resistivity
• Wear resistance: Good durability and toughness with scratch and wear resistance
• Food contact compliance: Meets regional food contact regulations including FDA standards
