Description
Mono Strand Wedge Anchorage is a high-performance single-strand component for post-tensioning systems. It ensures secure clamping and stable prestress transmission, widely used in bridges, high-rises, precast parts and slope reinforcement. Compliant with GB/T 14370, ISO and BS 5896, it performs reliably in diverse environments.

Core Structure & Working Principle

It consists of four key components for durability and functionality:
  • Single-Hole Anchor Plate: Precision-machined for 12.7mm/15.2mm/15.7mm strands, ensuring tight fit and uniform load distribution.
  • Self-Locking Wedge Clips: Heat-treated 40Cr steel (HRC 50-65) grips strands tightly, preventing retraction.
  • Anchor Bearing Plate: Disperses prestress to avoid concrete cracking and enhance structural integrity.
  • Protective Cap: Shields from corrosion and debris, extending service life in harsh environments.
During construction, insert the strand through the anchor plate and wedges. Tensioning draws wedges into the plate for irreversible grip, locking prestress and transferring it evenly to concrete without extra devices.
