Thermal CTP plates have very low sensitivity to natural light and are exposed by infrared laser, enabling daylight operation. Image formation requires reaching an initial thermal energy threshold; energy above this threshold does not alter dot shape — the only technology with controllable, predictable results. Quality is easily controlled with consistent plate output. Exposed plates can be stored for up to 6 months before development without any impact on quality.
1. High sensitivity, fast imaging, suitable for high-speed CTP output equipment.
2. Excellent dot reproduction up to 1-99%, clear and sharp graphic edges.
3. Uniform coating, stable performance, no coating defects or pinholes.
4. Good hydrophilicity and ink receptivity, ensuring stable ink-water balance.
5. High printing resistance, wear-resistant, suitable for long-run printing jobs.
6. Good compatibility with various developers, inks and fountain solutions.
7. Low waste rate, easy processing, suitable for mass plate-making production.
Specially used for digital direct plate-making on mainstream CTP equipment. Widely applied in offset printing for packaging color boxes, labels, books, periodicals, commercial advertising, brochures and high-grade printed matter. Suitable for both sheet-fed and web offset printing presses.
Store in a dry, cool, dark and dust-free environment, temperature 18–25℃, humidity 40–60%. Avoid direct sunlight, radiation, high temperature and heavy pressure. Keep in original package and use in rotation according to production date. Shelf life is normally 12 months under sealed and proper storage.
