PP Exhaust Fume Cupboard
A PP Exhaust Fume Cupboard is typically a large piece of equipment enclosing five sides of a work area, the bottom of which is most commonly located at a standing work height.
Air Flow Pattern

PP Exhaust Fume Cupboard Exhaust Principle
- Dirty room air is drawn into the front of the fume hood.
- Room air mixes with potentially contaminated air from chamber and is pulled upward by the bulding exhaust.
- Air split at back of hood increases exhaust and reduces turbulence.
- Contaminated air drawn from fume hood by building exhaust fan and leaves through air stacks on room
Safety Note:
Only provide personal protection. No HEPA filters to remove biological agents. Contaminates reduced to acceptable levels by dilution with environmental air.

Quality Control
- Factory testing:
- All of equipment is individually factory tested for safety and performance in accordance with international Standards.
- Each unit is shipped with a documentation outlining the tests undertaken and the unit’s individual results for each unit.
- Factory test include:
- --appearance testing
- --functional test and visual inspection
- --air velocity testing
- --noise testing
