Customized Design Multitube Cooler for Hydroturbine
Multi-tube coolers are shell-and-tube heat exchangers that serve as critical auxiliary equipment for hydro-turbine lubrication systems and hydraulic governor systems. Hot lubricating oil flows through the shell side while cooling water circulates inside the tube bundles, transferring heat from oil to cooling water to maintain optimal temperature levels for thrust bearings, guide bearings, and governor hydraulic oil.
Excessively high oil temperatures can degrade oil quality, accelerate bearing wear, cause hydraulic valve malfunctions, and create operational risks for unit stability.
We provide custom-engineered multi-tube cooler solutions based on customer drawings, heat load requirements, oil and cooling water flow rates, working pressures, installation space constraints, and water medium characteristics.
