MIL-DTL-38999 Series II / LJT & JT Series Connectors

Amphenol LJT and JT Series subminiature cylindrical connectors are qualified to MIL-DTL-38999, Series I and II respectively. Developed to meet the needs of the aerospace industry, these connectors provided the impetus for the MIL-C-38999 specifications, now superseded by MIL-DTL-38999. Meeting or exceeding MIL-DTL-38999 requirements, Amphenol JT/LJT connectors offer a lightweight, space-saving design with quick positive coupling via a 3-point bayonet lock system. They feature 5 key/keyway polarization to prevent mismating and ensure error-proof alternate positioning. Contact protection is enhanced by a 100% scoop-proof LJT design, preventing bent pins and short circuits. EMI shielding is standard in LJT Series and optional in JT Series. Available in nine shell sizes and a variety of shell styles, these connectors support a wide range of contact options including Crimp, Solder, PCB, Wire wrap, Coax, Twinax, Triax, Thermocouple, Fiber Optic, and Filter. Hermetic options are available with air leakage limited to 1 x 10 cm/sec. A "Breakaway" Lanyard Release style is available in LJT plugs for quick disconnect with an axial pull on the lanyard.
