The GF4-72 Type A Series FRP Centrifugal Fan is a high-efficiency, low-energy-consumption, eco-friendly fan improved from the classic 4-72 model. Optimized for superior aerodynamic performance, it is widely used in chemical, electroplating, oxidation, power plant, laboratory, circuit board, and environmental protection applications to handle corrosive gases containing acid and alkali components.
A specialized explosion-proof variant, BG4-72, is also available. Fitted with an Explosion-proof ExdI or ExdIIA/B certified motor, it safely handles flammable/volatile gases such as methane, ethane, propane, styrene, VOC vapor, xylene, carbon monoxide, acetic acid, kerosene, gasoline, and ammonia. Its performance and installation dimensions are identical to the standard GF4-72 model.
· The fan body is constructed from fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP), offering excellent resistance to corrosion by acids, alkalies, and other chemical agents.
· The impeller and housing design is optimized for superior aerodynamic performance, ensuring high efficiency, low noise, and stable operation.
· The direct-drive design uses a flange-mounted B35 motor, which is simple, reliable, and requires minimal maintenance.
· The fan body is lightweight yet rigid, resistant to aging, and built for long-term continuous operation in harsh environments.
· Excellent Corrosion Resistance: The FRP construction provides long-term protection against corrosive gases, outlasting standard steel fans.
· High Efficiency & Low Noise: Optimized aerodynamic design delivers high airflow efficiency with low noise output.
· Explosion-Proof Option: The BG4-72 variant is available with certified explosion-proof motors for use with flammable/volatile gases.
· Low Maintenance: The one-piece construction is easy to clean and inspect.
· The conveyed gas must not contain any sticky substances.
· The concentration of dust and hard particles must not exceed 150mg/m³.
· Gas temperature ≤60°C, relative humidity ≤100%.
