^{2.Properties & Applications}

^{Desmodur® E 2863 XP can be used in combination with suitable polyols}

^{and aliphatic amines, for example, from the Desmophen® NH-family, to formulate light-stable 2-component polyurethane- and polyurea-coatings with elastic properties.}

^{3. Storage & Storage time}

^{- Storage in original sealed Covestro container.}

^{- Recommended storage temperature: 10 - 30 °C.}

^{- Protect from moisture, heat, and foreign material.}

^{General information: The product is sensitive to moisture and should therefore be stored in tightly sealed containers. Storage at elevated temperatures will lead to an increase in viscosity and a reduction of the NCO content.}

^{Covestro represents that, for six months following the day of shipment as stated in the respective transport documents, the product will meet the specifications or values outlined in section "specifications or characteristic data" above, whatever is applicable, provided that the product is stored in full compliance with the storage conditions outlined in and referenced under section "storage" above and is otherwise handled appropriately.}

Covestro does not make any representation regarding the product after the lapse of the six months, and Covestro shall not be responsible or liable in any way for the development failing to meet specifications or the set values after the reverse of the six months. ^{The product is used mainly as a hardener in coating materials or adhesives. The handling of coating materials or adhesives containing reactive polyisocyanates and residual monomeric HDI requires appropriate protective measures referred to in the safety data sheet. These products may therefore be used only in industrial or trade applications. They are not suitable for use in homeworker (DIY) applications.}
