Hammer Crusher is a mechanical device that utilizes high-speed rotating hammers to impact and crush materials. 3.Working Principle

The working principle of hammer crushers primarily relies on impact crushing. An electric motor drives the rotor to rotate at high speed, imparting significant kinetic energy to the hammers mounted on it. When materials enter the crushing chamber, they are subjected to direct strikes and impacts from the high-speed hammers, as well as collisions with the impact liners inside the housing. The material is simultaneously subjected to shearing and grinding forces to achieve fragmentation. A screen plate (grate bars) is positioned beneath the rotor. Qualified material smaller than the screen aperture size is discharged directly; material larger than the aperture size is retained on the screen plate, where it continues to be struck and ground by the hammers until it reaches the required particle size for discharge.
