The Log Washer is a critical piece of equipment in mineral processing, primarily designed to remove clay, mud, and other impurities adhering to the surface of ore or intermixed within ore lumps. Its core function is to enhance ore grade through physical scrubbing, producing qualified products suitable for subsequent separation or direct sale.

3.Working Principle
The Log Washer cleans ore through an inclined U-shaped trough and internally rotating propeller blades (or agitator blades). The ore-water mixture enters the trough via the feed inlet, where the rotating blades vigorously cut, knead, and agitate the material. This process thoroughly breaks down impurities such as soil and clay lumps adhering to the ore surface. The cleaned ore is propelled by the blades to the discharge outlet, while slurry and fine impurities are carried away with the water flow through the overflow outlet at the trough's end, thereby separating the ore from contaminants.
