Surface Quality Requirements
- Surface dimensions should be neat and well-distributed
- Aluminum rod surface must be clean and free from flaws, wrinkles, wrong round, crackle, mess kink, and other usage-impairing defects
- Slight mechanical rub speck, pit, or minor surface imperfections are permissible
Applications
Conductors (AAC and ACSR) are widely used in power transmission lines with various voltage levels due to their simple structure, convenient installation and maintenance, low cost, and large transmission capacity. They are particularly suitable for laying across rivers, valleys, and areas with special geographical features.
