Applications

Ideal for mains electricity in various applications including laying underground, power networks, incoming mains to homes, and both external and internal uses. Suitable for direct burial with steel wire armouring providing protection from external damage.

  • Insulation: XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) rated at 90°C

  • Assembly/Inner Sheath: Laid-up with non-hygroscopic fillers and PVC bedding
  • Armour: Galvanized Steel Wires
  • Sheath: Extruded PVC Type ST2

Special sheathing materials available on request including Fire Retardant PVC, Anti-Termite PVC, LSZH, and others.
