Cost-effective 10-meter active optical splitter cable featuring VCSEL technology—converts a single 200Gb/s QSFP56 port into two independent 100Gb/s QSFP56 connections for HDR InfiniBand and 200GbE data center topologies.
The MFS1S50-H010E complies with SFF-8665 (QSFP56 electrical) and SFF-8636 (management interface). It uses 4x 50Gb/s PAM4 modulation on the 200G end, bifurcated into 2x2x50G PAM4 on the two 100G ends. Supports InfiniBand HDR/HDR100 (IBTA 1.5) and 200GBASE-SR4 / 100GBASE-SR2 Ethernet. Integrated CDR (Clock and Data Recovery) per lane with rate select for 25.78125 GBd NRZ or 26.5625 GBd PAM4. RoHS compliant.
The MFS1S50-H010E converts electrical 50Gb/s PAM4 signals from the host 200G port into optical signals using four VCSEL lasers. Inside the cable, the four optical lanes are split into two groups of two lanes each, routed to the two separate 100G QSFP56 connectors. At each 100G end, photodetectors convert the optical signals back to electrical. Integrated CDR retiming reconditions signals, reducing jitter. Digital diagnostics continuously monitor link health, providing real-time feedback via I²C interface.

A: Yes, it is designed exactly for that use case—200G HDR switch to two HDR100 adapters.
A: Yes, it supports both 200GbE/100GbE and InfiniBand HDR/HDR100 protocols.
A: Each 100G end consumes approximately 3.0W typical, 3.5W maximum.
A: Both 100G ends must be connected to valid ports for proper operation; the cable is not designed for single-end usage.
A: The minimum bend radius is 30mm. Avoid sharp bends to maintain signal integrity.
