The GE 4C-RS is a high-performance, wide-band convex array transducer. It is considered a "workhorse" probe for GE’s portable and console ultrasound systems (such as the LOGIQ, Vivid, and Voluson series), primarily used for deep-tissue imaging.

► Features

  • Broadband Frequency Range:Operating typically between 2.0 MHz and 5.0 MHz, it allows sonographers to switch to lower frequencies for deep penetration or higher frequencies for better superficial resolution.
  • Wide Field of View:The convex (curved) footprint provides a 58° field of view, allowing for a larger anatomical perspective in a single frame compared to linear probes.
  • Ergonomic "RS" Connector:Specifically designed with a compact "RS" connector for easy swapping between portable units and modern console systems.
