JL-243 0-10V, Constant illumination, Midnight night, Optical decay compensation
The dimming photocontrol JL-243 is designed to automatically control dimmable LED street lighting (0~10V) based on ambient natural lighting levels. This microprocessor-based product features an IR-filtered phototransistor and includes heavy-duty surge protection (MOV) to safeguard against inrush current and lightning impulses.
A preset 10-second time-delay prevents excessive operation from spotlights or lightning during nighttime. The relay offers exceptional reliability with over 10,000 cycles, extending further with the optional sandwich cover.
This product meets ANSI C136.41 twist lock terminal requirements and is UL listed under ANSI/UL773 for plug-in, locking type photocontrols used with area lighting.

It is an intelligent NEMA-standard lighting controller supporting 0-10V dimming, with constant illumination control, midnight energy-saving mode, optical decay compensation and real-time fault alert for smart street lighting systems.
Optical decay compensation automatically increases output brightness proportionally as LED lamps age and luminous flux declines, maintaining consistent actual illumination over the lamp's lifespan.
It automatically dims the lights to a lower brightness level during late night periods to reduce energy consumption while ensuring basic road safety and lighting requirements.
It monitors lamp status in real time, detects faults such as lamp failure, short circuit, abnormal voltage, dimming abnormality and communication errors, and sends timely alarm notifications.
NEMA standard ensures wide compatibility with most street light fixtures; 0-10V provides stable, smooth and widely supported analog dimming for reliable brightness adjustment.
