TGN Lifting Rake Scraper with Integrated Sludge & Scum Collection Troughs
Designed for rectangular clarifiers in wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs), the TGN Series Lifting Rake Scraper efficiently sweeps settled bottom sludge into a sludge collection trough while simultaneously skimming surface scum into a scum collection trough.

Working Principle
The TGN scraper consists of a traveling bridge, rakes (sludge & scum), drive unit, and control panel. Operating modes based on trough layout:
  • A. Troughs at Same End: Both rakes lower → Scrape sludge & scum forward to the end → Both rakes lift → Return to start unloaded
  • B. Troughs at Opposite Ends: Sludge rake lowers → Scrape sludge forward to the end → Sludge rake lifts & skimmer lowers → Skim scum backward to the start
