• Drive & Suction Mechanism: Centered on a fixed column, the drive unit rotates the scraping and suction assembly along the tank floor. The suction pipes, suspended from the support frame and connected to the central sludge cylinder, utilize the hydrostatic pressure difference (water level differential) to create a vacuum. This negative pressure draws activated sludge through the suction orifices into the collection cylinder for external discharge.
• Scraping & Skimming System: Opposite the suction arm, the scraping arm utilizes bottom blades to progressively move inert sludge toward the central pit. Simultaneously, the surface skimming mechanism collects scum, which is then directed by the skimmer into the discharge hopper.
