ASTM D295 ISO 9290 Manual Tear Strength Tester BS 4253 DIN 53862 Textile Tear Resistance Strength Test Device

Introduction

The determination of the tear resistance strength for various woven fabrics (using the Elmendorf method) is carried out to test the impact tear strength of textiles, woven fabrics, non-woven fabrics, and coated fabrics. It can also be used for the burst strength tests of silk, cotton fabrics, various papers, cardboard, and single-layer and multi-layer corrugated cardboard.
